"Veygo are looking for a Digital Designer to join the busy and creative Growth team!
Veygo has grown hugely in recent years, and has ambitious growth goals for the future. Our Growth team is at the heart of making this happen, looking after key growth work streams such as our brand and social media presence. As a digital designer, you'd play a critical role in this, helping us set a new creative direction that will make us industry leaders.
This role would suit a designer talent and an enthusiasm to prove themselves in a fast-paced environment. We are a mostly remote role, but we meet in our Cardiff office twice a month to collaborate on projects.
About Veygo
Veygo is an independent company within Admiral Pioneer, a new business within Admiral Group with the objective of seeding, launching, and scaling start-ups.
Veygo is at the forefront of the Mobility as a Service (MaaS) revolution and is growing fast. We want to make life easier for those wishing to share cars, use their own temporarily, or for learner drivers looking to practice in a family member’s or friends’ car. In short, we want to help people be able to get behind the wheel of a car, even if they don’t own one.
Responsibilities
As Digital Designer, you will be responsible for:
- Working with our social media team to produce animated videos and image creatives.
- Collaborating with the Email team who will require assets frequently.
- Working with our performance marketing team, to produce image and video creatives.
- You will be responsible for creating animated videos for internal and external use.
- Working closely with our content team to produce creative for our blog.
- Producing outdoor advertising that will be seen across the whole of the UK.
While you'd be the sole Digital Designer reporting to Veygo's Head of Design on the Growth team, you'd be able to connect with and learn from other designers in other parts of the business, such as Veygo's digital product design team, and Admiral Pioneer's service design team.
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Strong portfolio of work that you are proud to talk about.
- Figma and Adobe CC Suite (Including After Effects)
- Video animation and editing abilities.
- Be comfortable producing illustrations.
- A creative mind. We want you to bring your own ideas to the table.

It would be beneficial if you also had:
- Have a ‘test and learn’ mindset.
- Be able to analyze the performance of designs, using testing tools such as Userzoom.

Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance
We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.

Tell us about you and your Admiral story?
I joined Admiral in October 2020 as a Renewals Consultant. I dealt directly with Renewals queries and then moved into the Customer Value team, dealing with mid-term customers and upselling Multi Product. During my time in the Contact Centres, I helped with Volume Recruitment from time to time, and this prompted me to pursue a full-time role in recruitment, which I started in March 2022.
