"Having gone through a recent organisational refresh and alignment, the newly formed Data Tribe supports the ongoing evolution and implementation of our Data Strategy and brings together several key data, product and delivery hub functions.
The Data Confidentiality Assurance Manager supports the Head of Data Assurance, Info Security & IT departments in implementing the security policies that help protect Admiral data, with respect to all matters relating to Data Confidentiality, Models and Principles. Ensuring across all of EUI, compliance with Security Standards (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001), PCI DSS, DPA 2018, EU GPDR and other appropriate industry standards, and to support the overall organisational strategy. The DCA Manager will work with the Information Security & IT departments with respect to control coverage, response and capability to ensure business requirements for all related risks are within tolerance
Main Duties
- Deliver the following documentation
- Business Stakeholder, ownership and requirements for Data Confidentiality mitigating controls
- Control Capability configuration (Detection, Exception, Target Groups, Control Responses)
- Project Support and Direction for juniors and members of staff/team
- Coordinate and deliver the Control Capability configuration as per business requirements
- Ensure proper Governance is applied to all aspects of Data Confidentiality Assurance controls, including sign-off from all stakeholders
- Oversee the Development, and eventual (including UAT) promotion to production Control Capability configuration as per business requirements
- To proactively work with the Security Operations Centre and outsource providers with respect to meeting business requirements for Service/incident Response and consequence management.
- To collaborate on transformation projects to ensure Data Confidentiality is addressed throughout the project life cycle.
- To identify where Data Confidentiality controls are required, and ensure the technical implementation meets business requirements.
Behavioural Competencies & Experience
- Strong understanding of all aspects of data assurance and governance, including data quality management, metadata management and tools, information security, data architecture and technology
- Leadership experience in creating and leading high-performance teams in both a line and matrixed environment
- Strong experience of delivering tangible business value through data confidentiality assurance and governance solutions
- Good business acumen, with a good understanding of business concepts, practices, and business domain language to engage in problem solving sessions and discuss business issues in stakeholder language
- Experience of leading cultural change in the way data is used and governed in businesses
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills
- Strong knowledge of Info Security
- Have a relevant foundational qualification such HND, BSc or equivalent professional certification.
- Extensive knowledge of Data Loss Prevention controls
- IT security management or analysis experience mandatory.
- CIS, NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001 knowledge & experience highly desired.
- PCI DSS experience mandatory.
- Experience working with Cloud, Big Data and Open Data architectures.
- Knowledge of third-party security assurance highly desired

We are open to discussion around remote working possibilities (UK only). Our whole business is working in a hybrid mode (1 day at the office per week) but we do offer flexibility depending on your location. Please do not hesitate in querying this with the Recruitment Officer if needed.
