"People and Data are at the heart of everything we do within Admiral. The People Analytics Team are responsible for providing valuable insights, analysis and reporting across the Admiral Group that will help to inform key decisions around our employee data, including staff happiness & engagement, welfare, remuneration, recruitment, learning & development, absence and retention.
Our employee data is going through major changes which will allow us to merge various data sources together so that we can achieve a single view of our employees and their journey. This means that there are now numerous opportunities for us to find meaningful, new insights which will strengthen Admiral into the future.
When we combine this data with our learning and development data we can also create meaningful insights and drive decisions around how our Award Winning Data & AI Academy operates and satisfies the Data Community within their roles.
Main Duties
- Provide data analysis, insights and easily digestible business reports in-line with SLAs.
- Support the business by developing a self-service offering via MicroStrategy.
- Collaborate with business areas to ensure the collation of clear requirements.
- Ensure a high level of data quality through documenting processes, reconciling results, and conforming to Data Governance standards.
- Develop and maintain good communication with stakeholders at all levels and provide regular updates where required.
- Continuously develop knowledge in all aspects of the business to help provide analysis and insights.
- Proactively challenge and support decision-making within the business and projects relating to HR/employees.
- Demonstrate credibility and competence to enhance stakeholder confidence of People Analytics.
- Support colleagues and actively contribute to the culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and personal development.

Behavioural Competencies & Experience
- Ability to interpret and analyse data, articulating key findings and providing recommendations.
- Keen eye for data visualisation techniques and storytelling with data practices.
- Experience in BI/Reporting tools and technology (MicroStrategy and/or SAP Business Objects preferred, though not essential).
- A methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Adept in translating user requirements into technical specifications.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify data quality/integrity issues.
- Strong communication and relationship management.
- Excellent time and resource management.
- Previous MI/Reporting/HR/People Services/Admiral experience would be beneficial.
Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance
We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.

Tell us about you and your Admiral story?
I started working for Admiral in 2012 as a Customer Service advisor where my focus was customer queries and policy changes. I was keen to expand my knowledge within the company and worked for our Telematics area, closely followed by the Data Validations team. I knew I wanted to progress within this growing company and developed into an Assistant Team Manager in our Customer Loyalty department. Within a year I evolved into a Team Manager and continued this role for 5 years. I later had the opportunity to manage a team within our Complaints department where focus was based on customer outcomes and FCA guidelines. People and talent have always been my passion, which has led me to my current position in Recruitment which I started in 2023.
