Data Analyst

If you excel at creating compelling visualizations and effectively communicating data-driven stories, we would like to hear from you. We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Group Risk team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing reports for senior management and board members, analyzing data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities, and providing actionable insights to support risk mitigation and enhance decision-making processes.

Please note - we are open to taking full time or part time candidates. 

Main Duties

• Building visualisations.
• Examining and interpreting data to gain understanding.
• Identifying trends and risks and communicating them to colleagues.
• Working with colleagues in group risk to understand their data feeds and requirements.
• Building processes to ensure data is entered correctly.
• Ensuring data requirements and processes are captured and understood.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analyses.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Numerical, with a passion for data. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Excel. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
