We’re looking for people who have claims handling experience to support our customers when they need us most. You will be dealing with a varied and interesting portfolio of claims that may include water damage, fire, theft, subsidence and storm cases with a value of between £50,000 and £100,000. You will be responsible for ensuring our customers are looked after from the moment we receive their claim to the point at which their claim is settled.
Whilst we are looking for people with relevant claims experience we also believe in investing in our people’s ongoing professional and technical development. Successful candidates will therefore not only attend our excellent onboarding training they will also have access to a wide range of ongoing professional development opportunities, including externally accredited courses such as those delivered by the Chartered Insurance Institute and British Damage Management Association
Requirements
- Any Insurance qualification is an advantage
- A minimum of 2 years household insurance or claims handling experience
- A positive attitude to work and maintain general office standards and discipline in accordance with Company Procedures
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Team Player
