  • Applying Security Best Practice to our solutions.
  • Creating and updating applicable technical documentation.
  • Actively contributing to Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Refinement, Planning and Retrospective.
  • Contributing to improvements of our technical excellence and ways of working within Squad, Chapter and Guild forums.

Technical Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  • Developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/Terragrunt.
  • In depth knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins/GitLab/Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and practices.

Desirable:

  • Experience of designing, building, and maintaining solutions in GCP.
  • Experience of configuring and maintaining GCP managed services such as Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud SQL, Artifact Registry, Data Catalog and Vertex AI.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (including GCP VPC Networks and Hybrid Networks).
  • Experience with Compute, Containerization and Container Orchestration technologies such as Google Compute Engine, Docker and Google Kubernetes Engine.
  • Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Experience of configuring GCP Cloud Monitoring and Alerting.
  • Understanding of GCP Security related services such as Cloud Identity, Cloud IAM, VPC Service Controls, Identity-Aware Proxy, Cloud Data Loss Prevention, and Cloud Security Command Centre.
  • Experience of applying Security Best Practice to GCP Services.
  • Programming/scripting experience (e.g., Java or Python).
  • Experience working with and administering Linux environments.

Interview Process

  • There will be a 1 stage process which includes a Technical Assessment that feeds into the interview. The interview will be via MS Teams.
  • Interviews will take place throughout August.

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
