About the Role
We are looking for a highly proactive, motivated and results driven Sales Agent to join our growing telephone-based sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and nurturing leads, contacting potential customers over the phone to promote and sell our products or services. At Admiral Business we believe in providing exceptional products and services to our customers and as a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of Admiral Business.
Responsibilities
- Conduct calls to potential customers and effectively communicate the benefits of our products or services
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and be able to answer customer enquiries
- Upselling Admiral Business products to potential customers increasing the reach of Admiral Business
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing exceptional customer service
- Update customer information and sales records accurately in the CRM system
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- The ability to demonstrate a strong track record within an outbound sales environment
- Experience of lead generation and prospecting
- A positive and self-motivated mindset
- Strong desire to build rapport with customers
- Passionate about providing excellent service to the customer and going above and beyond
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
- A keen eye for detail and an eagerness to learn
- The ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Experience of working with CRM systems to maximise sales achievement
- Strong organisation skills with the confidence to challenge the status quo
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as underwriting, customer service, and marketing to deliver timely and accurate solutions to customers

Hybrid Working
The successful candidate will be expected to work from either our Cardiff or Swansea office twice a week.

Tell us about you and your Admiral story?
I joined Admiral in October 2020 as a Renewals Consultant. I dealt directly with Renewals queries and then moved into the Customer Value team, dealing with mid-term customers and upselling Multi Product. During my time in the Contact Centres, I helped with Volume Recruitment from time to time, and this prompted me to pursue a full-time role in recruitment, which I started in March 2022.
