Role Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multi-skilled Agile team as a QA Analyst for an award-winning workplace!

As part of the expansion of our team, we're looking for a QA Analyst who is responsible for ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle working with cross-functional teams to test features from a functional, component and integration perspective.

Main Duties

• Ability to analyse software requirements / user stories to write and execute comprehensive, thorough, and effective manual / automated test cases 
• Execute all phases of testing as required (System, functional, Integration, Regression, UAT)
• Being able to work effectively within the Agile methodology and participate fully in sprint ceremonies, communicating back to team on sprint progress, blockers etc.
• Ability to record, report, analyse and manage defects found during testing and manage through to closure
• Support the deployment of changes into the production environment and aid in the investigation of live issues or incidents
• Recognise routine tasks as learning opportunities and seek ways to improve/automate

Essential Experience

• Experience of testing complex IT projects through to completion, resulting in delivery of robust and high-quality applications
• Proven software testing experience including functional, regression and exploratory testing of web applications & mobile apps
• Experience in following the BDD process
• Sound knowledge of Agile Development methodologies and DevOps culture, hands-on Azure Dev Ops (ADO) experience of transitioning user stories to completion
• Experience in designing regression scripts, executing them, and reporting accurately.
• Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience with automated testing in Agile and BDD
• Experience with App and Cross Browser Testing tool such as Browserstack
• Salesforce testing

Qualifications (preferable but not mandatory)

• HND in Computer Science / or proven experience within IT
• ISTQB Certified Tester

Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
