Information Security Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Security Analyst to join our growing Cyber Security function.

A bit about Admiral Money

Admiral Money is an exciting, new division of Admiral Group. We have the freedom and innovation of a small start up with the security of a large parent company, Admiral. 

The journey started when we launched unsecured personal loans in June 2017. We went on to be the first direct to consumer car finance provider in December 2017. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength and have some exciting plans for the future.

We’re looking for people who are keen to learn, excited about getting stuck in and are ready for a challenge to help us to achieve our aim of creating a special lending business for our customers.

What you’ll be doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Contribute to the development and roll-out of an Admiral Money security policy framework
• Undertake risk and control assessments, articulating output to a range of stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
• Support the delivery of our security assurance programme and co-ordinate the response to actions identified
• Support the evolution of our security awareness programme to incorporate and address emerging technologies and risks
• Create and produce regular reporting on our cyber security posture

About you

The successful candidate will ideally have: 

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• A broad understanding of risk and security frameworks and how they are operated
• An ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple tasks
• Be able to proactively identify and own any issues and follows through to resolve them
• Knowledge of common security risks/threats/vulnerabilities and controls

Desirable:

• Experience working in the financial sector/financial products
• Experience of developing and rolling out cyber security policy frameworks
• Experience of delivering or supporting IT/cyber security audits
• Cloud Technology / Security Certifications
