The journey started when we launched unsecured personal loans in June 2017. We went on to be the first direct to consumer car finance provider in December 2017. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength and have some exciting plans for the future.

About the Role
This role will be based in Cardiff as part of the Admiral Money finance team, reporting to the Head of Debt Capital Markets. The DCM Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activity for our existing funding facilities (and supporting our medium to long term funding strategy), with a strong focus on ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our cash flow management approach.
Responsibilities
- Leading the day-to-day DCM activity for all funding facilities and cash flow management of the business.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the delivery of new funding requirements to meet the strategic objectives of the business.
- Managing the production and presentation of high quality financial and portfolio reporting to external stakeholders (banks, investors, rating agencies, law firms, corporate service providers and other third parties linked to our funding facilities).
- Coordinating DCM projects (e.g. new warehouses, mezzanine funding, securitisation, forward flow, changes to existing funding contracts, etc.) and working to ensure that these projects are delivered within the associated deadlines.
- Ensuring there is an effective internal control framework operated within the DCM function.
- Build and maintain relationships with key third parties (banks, investors, rating agencies, etc.).
Requirements
- You will have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, accounting, business administration or a similar relevant subject.
- Experience in relevant business funding activities for non-bank lenders (warehouses, public securitisation, etc.).
- Excellent MS Excel skills and financial modelling experience.
- Experience in reviewing legal documentation and producing contract summaries for business leaders.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise key deliverables.
