"Are you looking for a unique opportunity in a fascinating and fast developing field? Data is becoming the world’s most valuable asset; however, its misuse is among its biggest risks. At Admiral we recognise the huge benefits Data Science can bring to our customers by developing new and exciting propositions tailored to their needs. However, we also recognise that without due care there are risks.
Data Ethics is an engaging new area helping Admiral ensure that we are treating our customers data with respect and ensuring our predictive models are as free as possible from bias. The role will sit in our Group Data Protection and Privacy function and involves working with Data Scientists across the whole organisation. It involves thinking about the potential biases in predictive models and guiding the business to better solutions. The role will involve thinking about the potential biases and noise that may impact predictive models and helping advise Data Scientists on how to achieve fairer outcomes. We appreciate this is a new area and therefore, the person, their attitude and their determination are as important to us as their experience.

Include but are not limited to:

We recognise that this is a broad list of requirements and not everybody will have all of these. Therefore, we welcome you to tell us what other skills and experience you will bring to the role.
Interviews will take place during weeks commencing the 7th and 14th of March 2022.

Talent Partner - Early Careers
Tell us about you and your Admiral story?
I joined Admiral in 2021 as a Recruitment Officer looking after our Pricing department and other Graduate roles. Internal mobility is fantastic at Admiral, I was lucky to take a career change into a different role, within our UK Data Academy as an Engagement and Content Officer. Recruitment will however always call to me, I’m very excited to have recently moved back to the Talent Acquisition team as a Talent Partner in Early Careers looking after our Graduate Programmes and Emerging Talent at Admiral.
Why would you recommend Admiral?
I’ve never looked back since joining Admiral. The culture is second to none and I am surrounded by incredible and the most supportive colleagues. Wellbeing is genuinely cared for here with many initiatives to support everyone. You can see the real difference Admiral makes for its colleagues, it’s not just words!
