"Our Information and Cyber Security Department is a fundamental cornerstone of the safe growth of our business. We are looking for an enthusiastic Graduate aspiring to a career in technology, who enjoys the fast-moving, ever-changing world of Cyber Security, to join us our Security Improvement and Business Management team and support our Cyber Transformation programme.
These are fixed term 2-year fixed roles in the Information and Cyber Security department. Depending on performance in this role the intention is to offer the successful candidate a permanent role during this engagement tailored to their career aspirations.
About the Roles
To support:
- Security Improvement and Business Management team in general.
- Cyber Transformation programme workstreams.
- Cyber Management Information development and automation to provide close to real-time view on our cyber security posture and our cyber security services performance.
- Process improvements and process automation.
- Team agile ceremonies (scrum etc).
- Benchmarking our controls and performance against industry best practices and peers.
About You
Qualifications
- 2.1 or above in a Technology, Computer Science or Management related discipline is desired, coding experience is a plus.
- If you do not have a Technical, Computer Science of Management related discipline, we are open to other disciplines subject to demonstrating a solid academic background with transferable management skills.
Essential Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong delivery focus.
- Knowledge of project management and agile delivery methodology.
- Ability to challenge the status quo.
- Strong teamworking skills.
- Good computer literacy, experienced in MS office tool suite, ideally also experience with automation tooling, AI (MS Co-pilot/Chat GPT) and/or hands-on coding experience.

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance
We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.

Tell us about you and your Admiral story?
I joined Admiral in February 2012 as a Sales Executive and quickly grew fond of Admiral and its culture. It was clear there were many opportunities and different career paths. I moved over to our Claims function in 2014 as a Case Handler and from there I moved into Claims Underwriting, which lead to an opportunity to work in our IT department in a semi-technical role. I gained valuable insight into a side of the business that I never thought would have been possible. The time was then right to move into our People Services department where I have been since November 2018.
