"Price Comparison
Responsibility in this role is varied but includes supporting the Price Comparison team to ensure commercial success. The successful candidate will be expected to have an understanding of Price Comparison dynamics and personal lines insurance
The role requires strong communication skills, as there is an expectation for the successful candidate to support the Commercial Manager in negotiations and day to day management of Price Comparison relationships
To ensure Admiral maintains meaningful and productive relationships, the role requires regular face-to-face contact, telephone conferences, Teams video calls and external meetings with our largest partners; Compare the Market, Confused.com, MoneySuperMarket and Go Compare, among others. There will be an expectation to travel within the UK and may involve participation in professional and social networking events from time to time
Key responsibilities:
- Maximising existing revenue streams and assessing opportunities to open new sources of income
- Supporting the Commercial Manager in negotiation of commercial terms including acquisition costs, acceptable performance metrics and special offers
- Identifying business development opportunities by building relationships with external partner organisations
- Regularly compiling and reviewing data with an ability to articulate findings
- May be required to use data to challenge partners in respect of poor performance
- Maintenance of contractual terms
- Ensure that partners comply with general good practice, contractual terms and industry regulations.
- Facilitate and co-ordinate technical change and development
- Understand market trading conditions and developments in the industry
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and dynamic pricing initiatives.
- Regular contact with partners
- Organisation and maintenance of the Price Comparison team’s contracts and KPIs
Team:
- Support completion of IT projects
- Support completion of day to day change requests
- Support innovations and developments at Admiral and sell concepts in to partners
- Work with internal teams and individuals to facilitate and co-ordinate partner needs as required
- Identification of new innovations, opportunities and ideas
- Deal with complaints in a timely manner
