Sandeep, helping people rebuild their lives and thriving vocationally and in health

Introducing the third blog of our new series, I Belong; giving you a peek into Admiral, meeting our fascinating and inspiring colleagues from around the Group and giving insight into our friendly, diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
We’re lucky to have some brilliant people work for us, meet Sandeep…

“Hi, my name is Sandeep Gill, I am a practicing Solicitor specialising in Serious Injury claims at Admiral Law. I joined Admiral in 2013 and have been a member of the Serious Injuries Team since its inception.  I have represented a wide range of clients and recovered millions of pounds in compensation for them.

In my spare time, when I am not driving one of my two daughters to an after-school activity, I can usually be found trying to keep fit (which seems to be getting harder with each passing year), listening to music, at the cinema or reading a good book!

An exciting start in a rewarding role

I joined Admiral Law in 2013, not long after its inception, as it was an exciting opportunity to be part of a new enterprise. Living in Wales since the age of 18, I had seen Admiral Insurance grow with each passing year.  Everyone that I met who worked at Admiral spoke highly of them and how it was a great place to work with a unique culture.  When the opportunity arose to join, I felt I could not turn it down.  I am pleased to say, that it was the best decision I made and I love my job.

I love working at Admiral Law as I feel in my role I am able to help people after they have been involved in a catastrophic accident when they are usually left with life changing injuries through no fault of their own. Helping them to rebuild their lives after a tragic event and enabling them to move forward is so rewarding that it hard to put into words.

Maximising career and health goals…

Admiral Law has supported me to not only maximise my potential vocationally but has also helped me be the healthiest I have ever been. When I first joined I signed up to a healthy eating and exercise plan which was run by a colleague at Admiral. With his help I was able to learn more about exercise and nutrition and I have never looked back. As a result, I have been able to complete countless half marathons and a full marathon, which 10 years earlier would have been unimaginable.

However, my favourite thing about working at Admiral Law are my colleagues, who are more like my friends than work mates.
