An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our new and growing Reward team. Based within People Services, you’ll report into our Head of Reward and work on reward for our UK Operations.

You’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks and projects, so a great work ethic with a strong desire to succeed is essential! You’ll also need to have an analytical mindset and good experience working with Excel.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with Reward experience who is looking for the next step in their career, where they can work on delivering the UK Reward Strategy in a FTSE 100 company.

Accountabilities:

Regulation

  • Apply subject matter expertise to ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, including Solvency II
  • Build relationship with Group Risk and Compliance team to anticipate issues, respond to queries from regulators, raise understanding of Reward policies and provide information on how new processes may affect Reward topics

RemCo Management

  • Assist with Remuneration Committee reporting / modelling and pack production
  • Draft board standard papers for the Remuneration Committee
  • Attendance at Remuneration Committee for relevant items

UK Reward Strategy

  • Assist the UK Head of Reward with the delivery of the UK reward strategy, through achievement of milestones and projects
  • Work in collaboration with wider Reward, People Services team and business to ensure alignment and engagement with the UK reward strategy

Group Reward Strategy

  • Support the Group Reward strategy review project
  • Partner with the UK entities, to support them with Reward initiatives and ensure a test/ learn/ scale approach within the Group

Projects

  • Act as a project lead on various reward projects

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working in a regulated environment
  • Broad based knowledge and experience of reward (within financial services would be advantageous)
  • Strong analytical skills and numeracy skills, including advanced Excel
  • Able to manage data, provide detailed analysis and prepare recommendations for discussion with senior management
  • Logical thinker who is able to independently plan to deliver to deadlines
  • Good written communication skills to draft presentations and reports
  • Stakeholder management and partnership skills (empathy, listening, influencing)
