We are a start-up within Admiral Pioneer, looking to launch a business that helps solve growing problems for customers.

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our team, working in an entrepreneurial environment, to deliver excellent customer propositions.

This is a permanent position, but in the first 12 months you will:

  • Lead design projects from start to finish, working collaboratively to research, define, and solve high impact customer problems.
  • Have significant input in the product solutions that we launch and in the direction of our start-up.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure consistency of design across all aspects of our proposition.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working in end to end design, including customer insight platforms, ideation of customer concepts, prioritisation, socialisation, and detailed design of customer products.
  • Has the capability of developing MVP and Beta concepts in stringent timeframes, this will include design, UX, UI and ability to code early concepts.
  • Is resilient and has the flexibility to change course and refine solutions based on data, insight from customers, and commercial inputs.
  • Is an excellent communicator and can work collaboratively across multi-functional teams.

You are resourceful, a self-starter, and enjoy working within a small team in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

About the Team

Initially, our team will consist of four people, including a Product Designer (this role), Marketing Lead, and Lead Developer. The team will be led by our Product Lead.

We plan to maintain a lean team within our business. This will be complemented by the support of Admiral Pioneer, meaning we get the ‘best of both worlds’ with the flexibility and agility of a startup and resources of an established organisation.
