We’re looking for two, enthusiastic, hardworking, and proactive Personal Assistants, to provide support to our Finance, and Group Talent & Reward team.

These are great opportunities to join exciting areas of the business, in a varied and challenging role, with interaction with stakeholders at all levels across the Group.

About the Teams

Finance

Managing the finances and looking after the numbers for an organisation of our size and scope is a big and exciting task which provides plenty of variety and responsibility. Working within the team, you’ll support the Group CFO, UK CFO, Director of Group Finance & Chief Actuary and the wider Finance team.

Group Talent and Reward

The Group Talent and Reward function is a new team within Admiral Group with the objective of building a structured and systematic approach to talent, development and reward while staying true to the Admiral culture and the 4 pillars. Working within the team, you’ll directly support the Group Head of Talent and Reward as well as the wider team, and support the organisation of tools and communication with all Admiral entities and countries.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide full diary and administration support to the managers and wider team;
    • Manage the diary autonomously, discussing priorities every week
    • Organise meetings and manage potential conflicts flexibly
    • Other administration tasks like arranging travel and accommodation when required, managing expenses, external providers invoicing, etc.
  • Co-ordinate and minute internal and external meetings when needed
  • Prepare and distribute meeting packs and other meeting information or presentations
  • Organise induction and onboarding for new joiners
  • Organisation of department training and department events (including regular team building activities)
  • Be prepared to challenge the status quo if needed and make suggestions for improvement

Experience and Skills Required

  • Previous PA experience is essential
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Experienced at supporting and communicating with senior individuals and external stakeholders, maintaining a professional manner at all times
  • Proactive approach to administration – spotting issues / problems before they arise, and can anticipate opportunities to support the wider team
  • Able to identify issues quickly and come up with effective solutions
  • Flexibility to support the changing workload of the department and managers, and a willingness to work outside of core hours when necessary
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy when producing work
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Confidentiality and discretion

Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance
